On 10 July 2013 I will be leaving India and heading for Nepal. Originally, I was going simply to see the city of Bob Seger fame, Kathmandu and set my eyes upon Mt. Everest in person. However, this leg of my journey is turning out to be much more.
It is my belief that nothing in life happens by accident. While at MACUL (a tech conference) this past March I learned of a man by the name of Gavinda Panthy who founded and directs a school in rural Nepal not too far from Kathmandu. The Shantideep Adarsh Vidhyasadan School or SAV School is in Bageshwori. Visiting is now a part of my plan, a part that is at the very top of my list. It will be awesome to meet a dedicated educator who is impacting others in an exceptional way.
